“love the sinner,hate the sin” – hardly.More like “Love the donation, hate the donor”.Now I don’t care what these people do, though it saddens me that my brothers and sisters are willing to belong to an organisation that so frequently vilifies them. What I do object to is that religious personages can have a direct impact on my life because they have a privileged place in our society and that many politicians fall over themselves to suck up to them.And why do secular papers and people give them their self-claimed courtesy titles (reverend, most reverend, holiness) – all self serving tripe. Sorry – rant over, but they do make me angry!!
