  1. That this woman did not commit bigamy, although she illegaly entered into an Civil Partnership, proves overhwelmingly that such partnerships indeed are NOT marriages as some tout them to be. Having the same rights and privileges of heterosexual marriage in the guise of Civil Partnerships does not and never will have equal status in the eyes of the law.

Not sure but I think the prosecution will try to have the meaning of the word marry changed…again (it was already changed once from a change in legal status to – to go through a ceremony of marriage)…Civil Partnerships undermine the rights of gay people by masquerading as something close to marriage its ridiculous that the Labour government gave into bigots when considerin gay marriage.
