    The only downside of this movie, is that it will fuel the right-wing religious bigots in the U.S. and most republicans into upholding the ban on same-sex marriage in the red states (conservative states). I daresay it will have the same effect in the U.K. and elsewhere where there is no equality. Its quite telling though that it drew the largest number of movie-goers, even pre-empting Harry Potter. Hopefully, heterosexuals will rise above their homophobia and open up discussion about marriage equality.Robert, ex-pat Brit.

    Why should it offend there was another film done in the 60’s called THE GAY PRETENDERS about Two guys trying to avoid going to Vietnam it was funny in it’s time
