This year’s Pride Dog Show will be held on Sunday 8th July.

Now in its fifth year, the Kennel Club-registered Pride Companion Dog Show is being held at Hove Rugby Club and promises to be the biggest and best yet.

The pedigree classes will be judged by Glen Dimock.

Glen grew up in Australia where his parents bred Basenjis, but he has lived in England for the last fifteen years.

He has judged all over the world and will be judging at Crufts next year. He works for The Kennel Club too, where he runs the accredited breeders scheme.

In addition to all the usual pedigree classes, there will be a number of novelty classes that will be judged by Sara Mendes da Costa, who was chosen as the new voice of BT’s Speaking Clock from thousands of entrants.

There will be a bar, refreshments and trade stands to keep all owners, friends and families entertained.

Entry to the dog show is free although donations will be welcomed.

Class fees will be £2 with the first 300 entries receiving a goody bag from our sponsors, Denes Natural Pet Care.

All proceeds go to Pride in Brighton and Hove, a registered charity which raises funds for other worthy causes and groups in the city, in addition to funding the largest free LGBT event in the UK.

Pride Companion Dog Show will start at 1pm on Sunday 8th July at Hove Rugby Club, Old Shoreham Road, Hove. Registrations will be taken from midday .The event is in association with Coastway Veterinary Group and Denes Natural Pet Care.
