It seems that the director of Public Registry won’t let go of the issue. On The Times of Malta today it was reported that on February 28 has filed an application requesting a reversal of the court decree. The director insisted that the surgery was simply cosmetic and that therefore “the person involved was essentially still a man”. He conveniently forgets the fact that Gender Dysphoria is a state of conflict between gender and Physical sex, that the person involved is already a woman in mind. I do suggest that we all make this point to the Director of Public Registry, 197, Merchants Street, Valletta CMR 02, Malta or at pubreg.civilstatus@gov.mt
