Why exactly does the word “lesbian” have to be in a headline regarding Mauresmo’s win over Henin-Hardenne at Wimbledon? Isn’t that a bit prejudice??

  2. Martina Navratilova came out in 1981, not 1991. She didn’t switch to doubles after stopping playing in singles : she had already won many titles in the doubles, famously with Pam Shriver at Wimbledon. Please get your facts right! Also : what she lost in endorsement due to her coming out is a price nobody should be made to pay. Many players earn from sponsorships huge amounts of money, often many times what they earn in winning.Thank you iaia
