I am a gay guy living with my partner and my son in N Ireland. Iris Robinson MP who is a member of the out-right hompophobic DUP is very much towing the party line on this. I, as one of her constituents have requested a private meeting to discuss this issue and give her a chance to meet and talk with a gay parent, hopeing that she will gain a better persepective as to why the human rights of people like myself in N Ireland should not be abused in this way…we shall see.
