I was delighted to read in a google alert I get each day from the Irish Independent that a Gay hotel has opened up I also read with digust the comments the local county counciler made Des Hurley.who does he think that votes for him to get elected we are out there lots more than he relizes why is Ireland so empty of Gay people I left Ireland in 1987 because I did not feel comfortable living in my own country bcause I am gay I Had to go to a forign country to live because you have country towns like Carlo that are still in the dark ages and have not seen the light of day yet .Then they wonder what is keeping tourists away ,well let me amswere that for you it is negetive minded people like Des Hurly who is a public servent coming out with staments like this .Thanking you Tom Duane Irish Gay Man Living Abroad
