When you say “christian university” in the US, it’s understood that you mean evangelical protestant. Mormons (although they would like it otherwise) are referred to as Mormons, even by themselves for the most part, and Catholics are called Catholics. Not a big deal, but something journalists in the UK should get right.
Mormons are not Christians and even an idiot can figure that out, they specifically teach against fundamental doctrines of Justification and Sanctification. But a Christian cannot condone homosexuality nor define marriage as anything but a man and woman so at any such university they should be expelled when they do not show a baptism by the holy spirit.
