Rock DJ Robbie Williams is rumoured to be recording a dance album aimed at his gay fan base.

The singer is reported to have teamed up with dance producer William Orbit, who has also worked with Madonna, for the tracks.

Sources claim Williams wants to make a more pop and dance related record to be released under a different name.

A source told the Sun, “Rob’s last album, ‘Intensive Care’, was much more rocky with heavy guitar riffs. Some people around him felt it might not have appealed so much to his camp pop audience. So he has decided to do a dance album.”

Meanwhile the star is reported to be rejoining former band, Take That, for their homecoming concert in Manchester.
