McKellen criticises Brokeback gay kiss fears 7
12:00 AM — Gay actor Sir Ian McKellen has voiced his disapproval of Brokeback Mountain's Jake Gyllenhaal after he admitted he was scared about kissing co star Heath Ledger in the gay cowboy movie.McKellen slammed the 25 year old actor for not considering how his remarks would be interpreted from a gay view point.

12:00 AM — A second newspaper editor in Cameroon has been sentenced over a recent media gay witch hunt in the African country.Ayisi Biloa, publication director of Nouvelle Afrique, was jailed for six months and received a 4 million FCFA (6500 euros) fine after libel claims from a doctor and a government minister.

12:00 AM — Brokeback Mountain has been banned in the Bahamas, prompting accusations of discrimination and censorship.The Plays and Films Control Board is being pushed by cinemas and gay groups to change its decision which blocks any theatre screenings of the award winning gay cowboy movie at the request of the Bahamas Christian Council.
