Gran Padano is probably the best of of Parmigiano cheese, but reading your article I just wondered where you got a 1,000 year old specimen to offer as your prize? I know that, once the stuff is cut if it’s wrapped in a muslin cloth it will keep for a good long while, but 1,000 years is a bit much.
How smart myself and veggie friends welcome the thought of sampeling this cheese, we love wholesome products and can benefit from smaller portions, such a lovely appearence too.
