Acorn Antiques, the musical, written by the multi award-winning comedian and writer Victoria Wood, is now available on DVD.

Filmed at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London’s West End during its sell-out run, the new production reunites the legendary Julie Walters (Mrs Overall), Celia Imrie (Miss Babs) and Duncan Preston (Mr Clifford) – the original cast of the spoof soap opera, first seen on television 21 years ago.

They are joined by an all-star supporting cast of Josie Lawrence, Neil Morrissey and Sally Ann Triplett the production is directed by Trevor Nunn (Les Miserables, Sunset Boulevard Cats.)

The DVD is packed with never before seen extra features that have been specifically created for the release and include footage from the show on “Bingo Night” when Victoria Wood performed the starring role of Mrs Overall.

For all you dancing queens and wannabe pop stars, the DVD also has a sing-a-long karaoke option on all the shows songs.
