    It would be benificial to the transgender community if Kaiser Permanente would remove the gender marker from their card. Also, they should allow genital reconstructive surgery to all of their health plans. Kaiser Permanente has proof that this procedure isn’t any more expensive than many other procedures that they offer.Robyn

    If this perception is bad in Canada, where real freedoms are in place, one needs little imagination to realize how much more serious the problem is in the United States, where discrimination is legally sanctioned and, indeed, written into state and federal laws and constitutions.

    As bad as this perception is in Canada, where gays have freedom, it takes no imagination to realize how very much more serious this is in the United States, where discrimination is rampant, state enabled, and written into state and federal law and even some state constitutions.
