  2. So his family’s explicit homophobia was something else that screwed him up. Surprise, surprise.

  3. Could a straight man ever dance like this? I doubt it :) But seriously, the Afro-American community in the US seems to hold bigotted macho values very dear, so it isn’t surprising that MJ has been scared all his life of his true self.

“there were fears that their little brother was gay”

“We used to quietly say that we couldn’t have a gay brother”

Both very, very, ignorant and homophobic remarks.

“the Afro-American community in the US seems to hold bigotted macho values very dear, ”

I agree andrejs, why do you think hip-hop songs sing about ‘bitches’, beating up women, killing gays and ‘fucking pussy’, it’s an awful, bigoted, macho sub-culture that has managed to infiltrate much of the African-American male psyche. And it’s already here in England too, especially in London with all those gangs of ‘rude boys’ roaming the streets. Like to be a ‘man’ means you haveto dominate women and hate gays, how stupid is that?!

As for Michael Jackson, he wasn’t gay, he was a paedophile with a fetish that only manifested itself with young boys. Lisa Marie Presley reckons they had a normal sexual relationship but I’m skeptical, and even if they did, this fits the typical paedophile profile as being a straight man in normal life, but a little-boy fetishist in his other life.

And it is abundantly clear, that his ‘children’ are not biologically his since they’re white.

Man was a genius no doubt, but his private life was up the wall.

  5. Lezabella don’t you mean his private life was “Off The Wall”.

  6. The mother of his first two children has now released a statement to say that they aren’t his. The oldest boy has such pale blond hair that it is plainly obvious that he’s not mixed-race. I wonder what will happen to them now…

I seem to remember TV news reports from the more recent trial that a stash of gay porn was reportedly found in his home during police raids.
Whether or not that constitutes palpable evidence of anything other than his closet identity is another matter.

  9. It was not gay porn. It turned out to be an art book shwoing different male forms, but no tin any sexual roles.

    @Tony:
if it turns out they’re not biologically his then unless they’re legally his they get nothing. Stupid woman has shot herself in the foot if she was hoping for (more) money, and ruined the kids’ chances as well

I remember a member of the Jury coming out and saying that he’d got off on a technicality and that she wouldn’t want her children anywhere near him. So I hope he wasn’t gay!

@ Richard – I think the technicality you’re refering to was that the alleged abuse incident in the second trial allegedly took place AFTER the famous Martin Bashir interview, when anyone with any common sense would be putting as much clear blue water between themselves and child abuse allegations as humanly possible, as the innuendo mill was already working overtime.
Even MJ should’ve understood the meaning of ‘damage control’ and would have been very stupid indeed to indulge in anything which could be construed as child abuse after Bashir had already hinted in public that he had those concerns. But the defence suggested the kid’s mum saw it as an opportunity to cash in on a wave of negative innuendo.
Admittedly, the empirical truth gets lost amongst accusation and counter accusation from both sides.

I’m surprised at you of all people making sweeping statements like that when you have absolutely no evidence except what the tabloids spout. He was in court for over a month and was acquitted of all charges. You may disapprove and sneer, but that’s the law.

I have it on first-hand conversations with someone that knew Michael very well that he was just very immature. He liked kids the way other kids like kids. There was never anything sexual, but it was, as many saw it, “inappropriate behaviour” of a man of his age with children. I don’t think he was gay either. Or straight. Just like your average 10 year old boy, sex was just not something that interested him.

I’m no Jacko fan, but equally, I think it unfair he is slandered by so many when there is just so much rumour and hearsay. I guess it will all come out in the wash sooner or later.

I agree with Robin about Michael Jackson.Michael was probably immature because he got past his childhood stage of development.I’ve taken a psychology and mental health class toward my career as a nurse and it clearly states that if a human being doesn’t get past a particular stage of development (in Michael’s case, childhood) then that person will have some definite problems in adulthood. I hope Michael gets the rest and peace now that he so desparately searched for on earth.
