  1. “Colin Hart – Director of the Christian Institute ‘The Family Under Attack’ is the theme of a meeting organised by the Church Society on Monday, 10th September at 7.30pm in St Judes Hall, Ravenhill Road, Belfast. The speaker is Colin Hart who is Director of the Christian Institute, an organisation which exists to promote Christian standards in society in the face of growing secularisation and widespread rejection of traditional values, and to seek to strengthen the institution of marriage and family life. Before taking up his present post in 1990, Colin Hart taught mathematics in a comprehensive school in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. He is a member of Jesmond Parish Church in that city.Want to hear a good joke ..the Christian Institute is based in “Wilberforce House!”As to the family under attack and their promotion of Christian standards in society, they have raised £1,200,000 to build yet another new HQ with no doubt plush offices and an expensive car for Mr Hart.As I have read elswhere one would like to see £1.2million go to Christian Aid to help Christian families in African who live in poverty causing the deaths of thousands of children each year. That would be a truly Christian act.
