It is quite right that members of the Chruch of England are allowed to decide whether or not they will accept Gay or Lesbian members, clergy or perform same sex ceremonies. We live in a democracy. What is NOT right is that they continue to be the State church of a democracy that recognizes by law the full rights of its gay and lesbian citizens and are allowed to place un-elected members of the church into our upper house of government. It’s time for disestablishment and for our Head of State to relinquish the Governship. The leader of a country should represent all it citizens.

I come from a church (the Roman Catholic) which don’t allow gays to priesthood . It may be an offence against gays , but , beiing honest , a priesthood is something serious and it has nothing to do with sexuality , but a future priest shall be examined also psicologically for full validity
